Anna Busenburg, RDN, CSP, CD

I am a Neonatal Dietician at the biggest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Indiana. As such, I calculate nutrition needs for newborns and work to make sure they grow appropriately. I also have specialty training as a Certified Specialist in Pediatrics (CSP) and I’ve completed the certification course in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.

When I’m not calculating nutrition needs for newborns, I do contract work for Mini Minds, a therapy and counseling office in Carmel, IN. I teach group nutrition classes and offer private nutrition counseling to parents and their children.

Outside of work, I enjoy educating the community through various media outlets (television, radio and newspaper), talking about sports nutrition at local running stores (Endurance House) and providing evidence-based nutrition education for community groups (like the Lupus Support Group of Indiana, Indiana Diabetes Association, Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana and Dining with Diabetes through Purdue Extension).

If you are looking for outpatient nutrition counseling for your child, please reach out to me. If you need a dietitian to give a presentation, teach a class for your local community group, or if you have a nutrition related question, get in touch with me!
