Anna Busenburg, RDN, CSP, CD, CLC
I am a Neonatal Dietitian in Cincinnati, OH. I calculate nutrition needs for newborns and work to make sure they grow appropriately. I have worked in the NICU for the past 9 years. I also have specialty training as a Certified Specialist in Pediatrics (CSP), a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and I’ve completed the certification course in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.
When I’m not calculating nutrition needs for newborns, volunteer my time with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and hope to become more involved with the Ohio organization. I love reading, running and finding ways to relax while balancing work and family obligations.
Outside of work, I enjoy educating the community through various media outlets (television, radio and newspaper), talking about sports nutrition at local running stores (Endurance House) and providing evidence-based nutrition education for community groups (like the Lupus Support Group of Indiana, Indiana Diabetes Association, Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana and Dining with Diabetes through Purdue Extension). I have also worked in outpatient counseling at Mini Minds teaching group nutrition classes and private nutrition counseling to parents and their children.
If you are looking for outpatient nutrition counseling for your child, please reach out to me. If you need a dietitian to give a presentation, teach a class for your local community group, or if you have a nutrition related question, get in touch with me!
