Anna Busenburg, RDN, CSP, CD
I am currently a neonatal dietitian at the biggest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the state of Indiana. I calculate nutrition needs for newborn babies and work to make sure that they grow appropriately. I have specialty training as Certified Specialist in Pediatrics (CSP) and also completed the certification course in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.
When I am not calculating nutrition needs for newborn babies, I enjoy doing community education through various media outlets (television, radio and newspaper), talking about sports nutrition at local running stores (Tri-N-Run and Endurance House), providing evidence-based nutrition education for community groups (like the Lupus Support Group of Indiana, Indiana Diabetes Association, Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana and Dining with Diabetes through Purdue Extension). I have a passion for nutrition and being able to help people live healthier lives whether they are young or old.
